The Noel-Liam Gallagher feud is one of the more well known brotherly disputes in music today. There has been a long history of fighting between the Oasis siblings, both verbal and physical, but it turns out that there’s a slim chance they could put the feud aside and reunite.
Now the lead singer of Beady Eye, Liam told The Sun’s MF magazine that “if it was right, I’d do it. I’d do it for nothing, I’d do it for the music.” He also told NME that although they’re not speaking, he could see the band reuniting next year to celebrate the anniversary of debut album Definitely, Maybe.
From Noel’s point of view, a reunion isn’t off the cards either. Last year, the singer of self-titled band Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds told the Evening Standard: “If the Stone Roses can do it, then anyone can do it.”
It wasn’t a ringing affirmation, however. He added, “…I guess if everyone remains vaguely slim and has not gone bald, then it’s on the cards. For ever.”
