Sony Pictures Releasing and Sony Foundation Australia have partnered to show special advance screenings of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 to help raise funds for young people struggling with issues such as homelessness, serious disability and illness.
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 picks up where the original film finishes. Inventor Flint Lockwood has destroyed his most successful and destructive invention, a machine that turns water into food. However, the invention has survived, and Flint and his friends must contend with food-animals (foodimals). It will be released in cinemas on December 5. The ticket price is $10 (online booking fees may apply). The proceeds raised from these screenings will go directly to Sony Foundation, the charitable arm of the Sony Group of Companies in Australia.
