Connect5: Optus and Samuel Johnson want your films about ‘Connecting Lives’

There’s nothing that we like better than a good competition, especially when there’s cash involved. Optus agrees – and they’ve enlisted Aussie actor Samuel Johnson OAM to launch a brand new short film competition, Connect5.

Connect5 is a national video competition that gives everybody, from those who make videos on their phones, to industry professionals, to create a five-minute video around this year’s theme, ‘Connecting Lives’.

Aspiring content creators and filmmakers are invited to upload their short films to www.optus.com.au/connect5. Two Australian winners will win A$5,000, with the winner of the regional finals in Bangkok to take home US$30,000.
